Joko Suprapto is from Nganjuk, East Java – Indonesia. He’s well known as a generous man but also a reclusive person. He invented a new machine with sea water as an alternative energy which then developed with together with Blue Energy team. The main energy, water is separated into 2 flammable gas, Hydrogen and Oxygen. This hydrogen will replace oils as a main fuel.
Joko made this fuel with his friend, Heru Lelono, joined as a team called Blue Energy. They met in 2007 when Joko invents an alternative electric generator. The name Blue Energy refers to an eco friendly, low emition fuels, officially stated by President of Indonesia SBY.
In May 20, 2008, Joko is invited by President SBY for a National Rising Day event. But a couple days before, he is missing. This news responded quickly. Some intel and police is mobilized. But they found nothing. Suddenly, Joko come home at Friday, May 23.
In his living room, he held a press conference, telling the reporter that he didn’t kidnapped. He said that he want to seclude, to think the right strategy for project fund raising. In the middle of interview, suddenly he passed out unconciously. No farther information about this.
Anyway, this invention is not the first time. There’s also a team that invent the same thing. But this news give Indonesia a hope. A hope for brighter future in the middle of the hard time. Thanks to Joko Suprapto, one of Indonesian Heroes.
